meet the founder
In 2019, Gina Dillon, an Abu Dhabi community leader, founded WEADS. Envisioning a space where women living in Abu Dhabi could share, support, and network. Today, WEADS is Abu Dhabi’s largest organization for women entrepreneurs with over 5k members representing over 65 nationalities. In 2024, WEADS earned the Distinction of Social Enterprise from Ma’an the Abu Dhabi Social Authority.
I am so very proud of the work WEADS has done for the women entrepreneurs of Abu Dhabi. Our advocacy, support, and WEMarket pop-up events provide the opportunities women need to help them succeed in their small businesses.
